I have had the 5 iguanas together and they get along fine and even lay on one another. I have separated the uromastyx with a styrofoam block but sometimes the little iguanas can jump over. i just wanted to make sure there wouldnt be a major fight if they do get on the other side.
: : i have 3 one year old iguanas and two babies. can i keep them all in the same cage as a mali uromastyx? plmk. thanks
: Please do not....besides the fights that are bound to happen (read as possible serious injury, or death to some of the animals) Iguanas and uro's have extremely different care requirements! Iguanas need a very humid environment, while uro's are desert lizards. Some one will suffer health wise.
: Also, as your iguanas grow, they might (probably) need separate enclosures. Males should never be housed together, and some male and female pairs cannot as well. Male iguanas can and will inflict serious wounds on another iguana if they feel threatened, or simply for territory domination.
