He usually tries to bite when I pet him on the head or when he sees a finger in his reach. When I pick him up he gets really frantic and starts running like crazy in his cage. He makes a mess with his food and water bowl. I usually have to clean his cage. Once I hold him for about 15 minutes he really calms down and doesn't try to bite as often.
