Lumps on ig's side...

I have noticed lumps on my ig's side. He'd get small lumps and then they'd go away. Then they'd come back again. They seem to come back when I feed him (I refill his bowl every other day and then he'd eat it as soon as I give it to him). He's a fat ig. I just wanna know are these lumps just food in his belly or is it something to worry about.
