I tried to wrap Booger in a bath towel, as suggested. This caused even more fighting and struggling that the actual force-feeding itself. There were claws flailing everywhere. (I have LOTS of new cuts and scrapes)
I found that instead, if I put her on the kitchen floor to force-feed her, her feet just slide on the smooth tile floor and she can't get away. She gives up struggling very quickly, and then it's just a matter of trying to get her to actually eat.
As long as the floor is clean and not too cold, and if I talk softly to her while we "fight", does this sound like as good a solution as anything else?
