Tail amputation

Hey---I heard that you can do "a little" tail amputation for gangreen yourself. Does anyone have the instructions? I'm not really prepared Mentally to do it myself but know others that may be able to do it in a "sterile" manner. Thanks ahead of time. I'm sure that you guys will be hearing from us more. I've read alot of your posts and you guys are great. Besides we're "new" ig parents and love Camo alot and we have been through alot together. Any info will be appreciated.
