About the only thing that I feel I need to possibly have confirmed/refuted is that Ms. Kaplan, to the best of my knowledge, has been ill for the last several years and, therefore, has been unable to get "into the field" to do any personal research. If I am, I stand corrected. If I am not...so be it.. As it has been suggested already, the best way to keep a healthy animal is to constantly be expanding your knowledge from many sources as opposed to trusting just one.
Ms. Servant, it is definitely good that you do not solely rely on one source of information. If you did - how would you truly know what is and is not good for your iguana, no ? I believe that the problem lies in that you give the impression, not only her but in previous postings, that "since it is in print it must be correct". I think that that is from whence a good portion of the confusion is derived.

I really have to go empty out my pockets before someone challenges me to a game of "Quarters".... And I need new tread on my soapbox.....
