hmmmm .... sounds like that's what it could be ... what is worrying me is that both times it was obviously a 'broken -off' piece ... it was not smooth at all ... the 1st chunk i noticed was a 1/4" x 3/4" little 'block' ... the 2nd one was flatter, maybe 1/8" thick, but was 1/2" x 1" ... didn't seem to bother iZ to pass them, but it makes *me* cringe ...

wonder if it's a *good* thing he's passing them now??? mebbe i've got his mineral levels straightened out moe than they were??? as hard as i've tried to get his diet "right", it was a *huge* challenge the 1st 6 wks post-op and it is *very* possible that his mineral levels are a bit skewed right now ... he couldn't have solid food at all and the formula i had was for humans and was way too high in iron ... *sigh* ...

have been slowly adding pureed collards to his diet + so far his system is able to process it ... and i have a new calorie supplement, lower in minerals ... so far, so good ...

what scares me is that during surgery, they had to open his bladder cuz it was so huge + it was full of chunky, gunky stuff ... but i don't know if it was this same stuff or not ...

thanks for looking stuff up for me!!!! it does help to know that mebbe this isn't a totally freakish thing!!!

hugs back!
iZ's mom
