This may be a litle off topic, but I lived in Burlington for 28 years. I just moved to California in October. Moved in with an adult female Iguana, 2 skinks, and a garter snake....oh yea, and with my fiancée. :)

I didn't even know that there was a reptile rescue in/around Burlington. I thought keeping exotic pets was more of an American thing--definately not as prevalent in Canada.

I hope the shelter can find good homes for all the orphans, but even more so, I hope there is more information available to consumers so that the animals don't get orphaned in the future.
