Matt....ya might want to check out this link...Everything you want to know about anything that can be consumed by humans (and iguanas I suppose ;-) Tomatoes...are great to be given once in awhile to say turtles...great source of Vitamin A. But for iguanas what you want to give them are foods that have TWICE as much Calcium as Phosphorus or 2:1 .....tomatoes CA:P ratio like 1:5 that 5 times as much phosphorus as calcium so there are some better veggies out there to give. Here's the USDA Nurtient Database link...to check out foods you may want to give your ig. Remember not all foods are great even if they have a good Calcium Phosphorus ratio.Maybe someone here can ask for a link to Iggylovers...or try Jenn Swoffords site...she has a list of foods that may have a good Calcium Phosphorus Ratio but really aren't good ig foods over the long haul because of theis reason or that!
