it took iZ a *long* time to decide not only will he 'put up with' baths, but he actually *likes* them!!!

if Slater is afraid of the water, start with just a *very little bit* of water in the tub, just enough to warm up the tub surface ... it took iZ a while to get used to the floating feeling of deeper water, he did *not* like it when he was small, but he didn't mind an inch of water cuz it was warmer than the cold porcelin (sp?) of the tub ... try alot less water + be patient, this is a new thing for your little guy! *grin* ... oh ... i used to have to lean over and let iZ sit on my hand/arm when he was in the tub so he felt a bit safer ...

and besides toilet-training purposes, getting Slater used to little soaks in the tub will be invaluable for when he's shedding ...
