I would suggest calling your iglet.....a neutral name.....

that way in about a year and a half when it starts making it's changes into adulthood, the name can be adjusted slightly whether it's a girl or a boy. Example: Jack.......can also be turned into Jackie. But if you call your iglet "Spike".......then it's alittle harder to adjust it.
There is also two more body areas to watch for changes: 1. 2 pronouced bumps on the back part of the top of your iglets head.
2. The area around the large scale on it's bottom jaw will start to ballon out, like his got a big walnut stuck under the skin.
But you have awhile to wait before you will know and there's much to learn about your iglet.....the proper foods, temps,lighting and other husbandry.....I would suggest find as much information as you can....read, read and read some more. If you like reading books vs online reading....remember one thing...DO NOT feed your iglet animal protein, whether you read it or not. There are books out there that suggest it but it's wrong to do. Stay with greens, veggies and fruits.
