What do you think the corporate office would think, if you sent a letter stated what you said in your post.....about the $80.00 NOT being spent at Petco or any other national chain? Probably very little if it's only your letter....but if it's 100 of us writing them....they'll definitely be concerned!!
Store's have one goal, to product revenue...and large chain stores can probably out last...the iguana owners not buying from them. But "cc" letters sent directly to the corp. office gets upper management PO'd.....and if I'm right, they will be making a direct call to the manager of that certain store and want to know what is going on!! And one thing managers don't want....is someone from the corp. office calling them about a problem in their store. Now, let's see...if 100 letters arrive at this corp. office within a week, what do you think will happen? nothing? I don't think so and with things just like you said about not buying at the store and telling your friends not to buy there, with these things in the letter, they will start looking into it. Complaints to a corporate office will not be taken lightly.
