Hello,
My 3 1/2 year-old Iguana, Igg, went through his normal breeding season from October to January. He doesn't become aggressive at all, but doesn't eat and is very restless.
A few days ago, I was spending some time with him and I've noticed that his femoral pores have become very large. I ran my hand across them and they left white powder streaks on my hand. He's becoming restless, but is still eating. I've also noticed him head-bobbing at his mirror, which he rarely does.
Is it unusual for Iguana's to have two "breeding seasons" within 12 months? If so, does the second season last the usual 3-4 months? Has this happened to any other iguanas out there?
