is to use power strips with breakers on them, for use with not only the ceramic heaters, but also any other device being run in your iguana area. If for some reason, something goes wrong with one of the units (heater, light, etc..), it should trip out the power strip cutting off the power supply. Don't rely on the house breakers, which maybe clear across the house to trip out right away. Power strips run around $6.00 to $10.00, but make sure they have a breaker on them.....some don't. It's just an added safety feature.
