Although we keep the iguana room main temp at 80 degrees, we keep the ceramic heaters going 24/7. In the evening, we turn the main temp down to 68 to 70 and have the ceramic heaters still on. Now of ours really use the heaters at night. In the summer we turn the heaters off if the temp in the room is 90 degrees and at night if the temp outside if above 75 degrees. Right now, we are also shutting down their lights at around 5:00 pm eastern time...and turning them on at 6:00am. Normal hours in Spring....5:30 am to 7:30...or if they all look like they'd like to go to bed....earlier. Harry of course, doesn't like to hit the sack too hurry when it's warm.
We almost run our humidifier 24/7 too, with the H. level being in the mid to upper 80's at least. Yes, you feel like you've taken a bath when you walk out of that room.
Hope this helps
