Sammy is on massive antibiotics and topical cream. I have been in touch briefly with the pet store and plan on going back VERY soon to speak with the manager about my vet bills. This is a NATIONAL CHAIN. I can not take Sammy back as we all love him too much and if he is gonna die, he will do so with us. The vet said if he lives he will adapt to being toeless for the most part. His envirorment will have to be handicap friendly (sad smile) but we will manage. Vet also said he had the worse case of internal parasites he has ever seen. This makes me so angry as this is a national store dedicated to the welfare of animals. Anyway, we are working hard on trying to save his life. The cost has been very very difficult as I am a single mom of 4 kids and all this wasn't in the budget, but I am the kind of person who will go with-out for my pets and I doubt the Pet store will reimburse though. I will keep you all informed about how Sammy does and Thank you very much for you support!
