: What it sounds like to me, is a spiney tailed iguana, but from what sub-species, I can't figure. Although P.C. has numerous different species of iguanas, ranging from non-endangered to endangered species. Some of the latter, are down to under 300 known to still be alive. If you took a picture of this iguana, maybe I could cross-reference it to a sub-species??

I took a picture but it is not enough clear to see well the lizard....do you have one picture of a cuban rock ig? Or can you tell me about a web site with iguanas species pictures??? thanx
