Baby oil (scented mineral oil is all it is) is great for helping to massage tough sheds such as spike casings off...but not to "coat" your ig with...lol They are able to absorb moisture (humidity) with those scales! Coat it and tough to absorb anything! The best way to keep you ig looking buffed ..is constant high humidity, good hydration and a good diet. Put a bit in *your* bathe and calgon take me away......;-)
