Baytril- Documented cases of single dose treatments of Baytril causing blindness

Has anyone heard about the cases of documented clinical blindness caused (in some cases) by a single dose of Baytril? The cases I have heard discussed are in canines. Has anyone heard if this drug affects reptiles in the same way? What are the alternative antibiotics for reptiles? I would be interested in any information you could provide.
