My Iggy Died (please answer question)

7 year old male perfect health, 4 1/2 ft ate alot of greens and fruits and just about anything.I had him in a very nice large cage and opened it every day for him to climb out. He would just lay on top the light fixture. (it did not get very warm).
His cage temp would stay around 82 degrees.
I moved last week and he had for 2 days stayed on top of our curtin buy the window while we moved his cage.
I guess the temp was about 70 but when we moved him to the new house he seemed fine. 2 days lated he was getting thin and looked to be in alot of pain. The next morning he pasted on.
I dont understand what happened. He did not look like he had a cold, I saw him eat and drink. Any help would be nice.
We also had some plants in the living room that we picked up the same day with the iggy.
I dont know if he ate some or not but it was not the first time he was alone with the plants.
I just dont know.
