One of my iguanas, Sweet Pea, free roams. She likes the area of my desk so I have a ceramic heater set up for her there. The problem is that I live in the northeast and it gets dark here at 5 PM now. I sometimes work until 10 pm or so, and then sometimes I get up at odd hours in the night or around 4-5 AM to work again. I have found Sweet Pea trying to sleep during the day now.
Am I putting undue stress on her with the lights on? The lights don't effect her heat source which is constant.
This is the area that SHE picked out and she did that because she lives between two window sills and my desk and can look out the windows.
Thanks for any input.
