~*H*O*O*R*A*Y*!*~

: just got off the phone with iZ's doc and iZ's blood work LOOKS GREAT! phosphorous down to normal, *everything* finally within normal parameters except the CPK which is still elevated but IS down from a month ago ... Dr. M. feels at this point, it is nothing to be concerned with, could be muscle trauma from all the shots he's had .... *WHEW!*

: Dr. M. said at this point in iZ's recovery, he'd be surprised if there *wasn't* some blood in his stool and is *not* concerned about the blackish stool *or* the scab-thing he passed last night ~ *another sigh of relief* ... said it is very very prob'ly just the colon healing, sloughing off the scab from the incision ... nothing to be concerned about at this point in time ... esp. since it was obviously *not* a "fresh" piece of tissue ... *happy dances*

: thank you Gina for the info from Dr. H.! i really appreciate your efforts! *grin* i think if it's not the amphojel, it must be his very un-iglike diet lately ... am gonna do a hemoccult test on tonite's sample, but like Dr. M said, not gonna worry if it's positive for blood ... just be nice to know one way or another ...

: ok, gotta quit dancin' and go feed the little guy now!
: hugs + headbobs for all!!!!!
