sinus infection treatment

I have spoken to a homeopathic vet who offered atreatment of 4 pellets of silicea, ccrushed and given to Butthead orally.This with hot compresses should relieve the symptoms quickly.I have started this treatment and the swelling has reduced.This will be the second day of treatment.Does anyone have any thoughts on this?See my prior posting for symptons.
