i use a bubbler-pump from a waterfall (think it's called a "sand shark"??) it's held in place with some large rocks in the middle of a large water bowl (i swiped from our puppy) ... works great ... does keep the water a teeny bit warmer ... iZ likes to drink out of the bubbler part, instead of the still pool ... seems to keep the water a bit fresher too ...
