personally, i would be too afraid to even try it ... those things have always scared me, whether i was using it in my infant son's room or in mine (before the cool mist ones came out)... the potential for injury is too great IMHO ...

*IF* you do decide to try + set it up for your ig, place your hand at the place where your ig could possibly get the closest to the steam and hold your hand there for a few minutes ... if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for him too ...

still think a nice pan of water + daily baths might be the way to go ... but ya gotta realize that i am one of THE number one worriers of all times! *grin* it's so much better to err on the overly cautious side of things than to have regrets later on ...
