I say yeeeeahhhh! go for it kcl. I would recommend the bleach & water disinfecting too...if too large for baking (200 degrees) ...another thing you can do is wrap large branches in sheet plastic or large trash bags taped air tight then let em sit outside for 5-10 days guaranteed to kill any parasites like ticks & mites. I scrub my igs large basking branches with a scrub brush and the bleach and water solution at least once a month as routine cleaning of their enclosures.Follow with a plain water rinse and air dry em (the heat from lamps speeds the process up!) before letting igs back in. Better to be safe than sorry
