Endangered..about 10 zoos in the entire US are engaged in conservation programs for these igs like San Diego Zoo here in Cali, and Sedgewick Zoo I believe in Texas to name a few.Australia has a breeding program as well. I do not believe Ive read of anywhere in Europe where they are being bred. Private herpetoculturists can engage in breeding programs but as was mentioned permits and formal training in herpetology not to mention BIG BUCKS are required. So sadly I must admire them from afar because Im a 3 time loser! wahhhh!!!
