definitely a *very good* idea to have *especially* during this time of year when the furnace is on and the air is even drier than usual!!! it will help you ig stay healthy and will help prevent shedding probs too ... you almost can't get it *too* humid, but it is possible ~ you want to avoid the enclosure being so humid that it gets moldy ...

iZ has one in his room and i had it 'piped in' to his enclosure when he was small enough to have one ... make sure you get the COOL MIST kind NOT the kind that gets hot!!!!!!!

(got ours at walmart btw)
