I have read some responses that range from a few days to a few weeks after they start diggin'. I've also read some that didn't even dig but just went right into laying.
Ours has only been gravid once and she didn't even lay them, they didn't end up developing all the way. We have Xrays on file showing the start of the developement of the eggs. This year I think things will be different for Lola, I think she's going to go the full term and lay them. She's PMSin' right now "big time". And getting very fat but hasn't started digging in her box yet.
