Wait! You can't just close the case on animal protein right off the bat, some people give their iguanas animal protein.
I wouldn't think it'd be absolutely TERRIBLE for your iguana to have a little bit of animal protein occasionally, if they're a juvenille iguana. But I'm still a fan of plant protein and so far that has been the best for my iguana.
