sounds like iZ when i first met him ~ i'm with the others, definitely get a poop sample to the vet and get the little guy treated for the worms he very probably has ... that alone can do absolute wonders, it did for iZ ... that and fresh food available all day so he can eat a bite or 2 whenever he wants, all day long ... once he's rid of the parasites, he'll feel better, eat more and the food will be all his (not the yechy parasites) and his color will improve and he'll gain weight, and energy, etc, etc, etc!

lots of warms soaks, sounds like his spikes aren't shedding right ... put a wet washcloth over his back when he's in the tub to specifically soak them too ... IF he's calm enough, you might wanna try to slit the stuck shed with a samll pair of scissors ...

REAL sunshine!??! kewl!!! that'll be great for him too!

i'm a HUGE believer in Pedialyte/Infalyte!!! ... i'd give him some with an oral syringe everyday for a while ... putting it in iZ's water bowl never worked for me ... he KNEW it was in there + wouldn't drink it ... but he takes 'squirts in the mouth' very good ...
