HDD Lamps are UP and running ...and OUCH!!

Im baaaaaaaaack!! lololol What have I missed??? Well finally got the Active heat lamps up in both cages...Never did find/get a diffuser but rigged up a small sheet of plywood with a quazillion (?)tiny holes drilled in it between the lamp & where they bask;hang out so they aren't exposed to all that uvb. Currently have em on timers for two hours only....the 300 watt lamp keeps Feo's enclosure nice and toasty for those two hours and Im running the humidifier at the same time...He seems as happy as a pig in mud! Their color/skin is looking so good these days. Wonder if its the lamp lighting, or onset of cataracts! Those things get super hot too! As I was wiping down his cage 3 days ago I accidently hit the lamp about 5-10 minutes after it turned off and now have a oblong shaped burn on the back of my left hand! Owwieeeieieieie! Burns and scratches...all I have to show for my hard work with these little monsters...The bearded dragons are getting huge! Crix everyday too! I separated Jennifer Dahmer from the other two and ALL of them are doing well...no more amputated tails or bit up toes. Life is good ...ut oh .....did I just jinx myself?
