......dominance in males is quite common in lizards of many species. I have read about the Galapagos Marine Iguana's dominance displays. They live pertty close together and a couple of males pretty much run the show as far as getting the ladies is concerned. Closer to home, we have a male fence swift who defends his territory with great ferocity. He'll fight to the death for his little piece of scrap plywood against any other male that is foolish enough to contest it. It's wonderful to watch! The threat displays are beautiful.
Harry's problem is no doubt his natural instincts asserting themselves. I don't know the remedy. Perhaps moving him into a different room, then trying to subordinate him?
It's an interesting problem and one I might have to face in the future.

: This may mean nothing, but I wanted to share the thought with you. Maybe Harry is trying to exert dominance over you all. Do you think the igs could be like dogs, in that respect? And, if so, you may have the right idea, with the fisherman gloves, as perhaps you should not let him win. It might make him worse. What do you think?
