Bless his tiny heart!! I remember to vividly when Lizzy had her hysterectomy and egg removal in August; she looked like a green bag of bones. I'll say a prayer for Iz-I'm sure God understands our love for these creatures. I agree 100% about finding an if vet BEFORE you need one. I was on the phone for two weeks trying to find one who truly knew what he was talking about. Many said they would slice her open, but only one actually seemed to be intelligent enough to do the surgery. We drove 41/2 hours to get to her office, but it was well worth the drive. The people on this forum are so informed! They helped me know what to look for in a vet. There was only one vet who knew at least as much as I did. The others were down-right stupid! I'm glad you found someone you could trust. By the way, what's a water bubbler? Does Lizzy need one?
