Shedding problem

My little guy is having problems shedding his tail skin.
It's been two sheds since he last shed his skin on it. Is
there any thing I can do to help it come off? I have
tried bathes every night but it doesn't seem to help. He gets
plenty of uvb and moisture too. Will minneral oil work and not
be harmful?
