Hello! The info you provided is giving me a good picture of what to expect. I am going to be living in the Herndon/Reston area. The power outages will be a tough one, since I have 9 reptiles in all (including my iguana). I am going to go purchase some heat paks for the trip in the car from NM to VA. Thanks for the info, I will keep in touch to find out more about your rescue group also! =)
