hi Thom ... are you sure he's seeing his reflection and doesn't just hate the glass on general principles?? when iZ was smaller and i let him out to free-roam, i used to put a plexiglass partition between the rooms to keep him confined in one area ... that plexiglass made him NUTS!!!! he couldn't comprehend WHY he could see the next room but not be able to GET there ... (did that make sense?)... he'd bang away at it all night if i'd let him ... (i didn't!!) ...
suggestions ... yeah, i'd hate to see the glass go for environmental reasons ... but 2 things come to mind ... one is to put 1" plastic mesh inside the enclosure, about an inch or so away from the glass ... tho if he starts bangin into IT, it will still be bad for his nose ... it might help him realize that there IS a barrier there ... 'nother idea is to put something like silk vines down the outside of the glass with the same reasoning, to show him there IS a barrier there ...
keep a close eye on his nose! hope ya get something figured out soon!
