a non-iguana little STORY I had to share

Flapjack, my beardie, sure hates most greens and today I was trying to tempt him with a dandelion leaf-- he licked it, accidentally taking some of it in his mouth. Well he about freaked out-- and while I'm thinking "hooray" it's a done deal and some has to go down his tummy, he sure enough managed to spit it out (he was so skilled at spitting it out you would have thought he could tie a cherry stem in a knot!) Man is he picky! (I've resorted to supplementing his diet with baby food veggies because he feels obligated to lick some up before he shakes his head and wipes it off on the floor) It's exasperating, but kinda cute! :-)
