Yes, it is possible that the iguana was stolen. There are quite a few kids in the neighborhood that go unsupervised most of the time... ranging in age from 6 right on up to teenagers. There isn't really much I can do if this is the case. On the signs I am posting, I put the date missing and that anyone who found or was GIVEN a large iguana around this time should contact me. Most likely, the kid would tell the parents the ig was given to him by a friend. But since a lot of the parents don't seem to care where their kids are, I don't think they will care where the iguana came from.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will find her... but I'm not overly optimistic.
