Hi, first for the problem shed areas now, soak with warm water (like in a warm tub) for at least 20 - 30 minutes. Make sure he doesn't get a chill, but a good long soak. Then I usually use an old SOFT toothbrush and GENTLY brush at the wet skin. It may take a couple of treatments to get it all off, don't give up! Now, for future prevention...try a humidifier in the herps cage. You can buy a great one that sits in a bowl of warm water and produces warm (not hot!) steam. This is especially useful if you live in an area that is very dry or if your home is heated in a way that dries the air out. Finally, is the ig drinking enough? Are you misting him regularly? Do you let him soak every day? These might help too. Good luck!
