I moved three igs two snakes and two turtles from northern alberta to southern alberta I kept the ig's in a large dog carriers to keep them warm I used hot water bottles that were reheated at pit stops. I also bought a light that plugged into the cigarette lighter it would not give off enough heat for them to bask so I wrapped it in a towel and it did gave off enough heat to keep them warm. I would sugest that they be kept in the cab w/you if at all possible as the back of the trucks are usually is fairly cool.
