I agree but have very different circumstances than the *normal* move most people make. I have lost my home here in California and don't even know who I'm going to be living with in Alabama. May be a very sick mother-in-law or at my brother-in-laws. Kermit is a free roaming iguana. I don't know where I'm going to put him. This is almost as difficult a decision to make as giving a child up for adoption. Knowing Kermit as I do I think he'd be best in a home with his own spot and proper care and right now I don't know if I can give that to him.
: Actually, I think your iguana would feel less stressfull if you take him with you. Many people have moved cross country with an iguana. it is more stressful for you. I have moved with pets and toddlers. But, wouldn't you feel better in the long run knowing that your iguana was happy?
