Well it's common and not so common knowledge that igs can and do tolerate colder temps than we think they can.They do have the power to shut down and survive cold temps.You've done the best thing for him,,slowly warming him up not too fast,as that is the shock to them.As Ig3 said,,,watch for respetory problems and be sure you give him some pedilyte for rehydrations.It will help with his electrolites too and they now make a powder to mix what you need.If possible get him into the sun too.That sun is a miracle worker for them.
Fingers,claws are all crossed for GG's good recovery.I'll bet he sure doesn't want to be back on the mean streets anymore.
