In Reply to: I was just wondering who here lets there ig's free-roam and who keeps them in a cage? cage sizes? thank you n/p posted by Jesse on October 21, 1999 at 21:30:03:

Currently they are both caged except btw (5-10pm) or random times on weekends. The beardie loves and prefers his cage (it's big) while the iguana hates it with a passion. My last ig would climb back in his cage when he was tired, but not so with this one!! If he is sleeping & I try to put him back in, he wakes up and clings and fights not to go back in. He poops incessantly and acts like a crazed beast until you let him out. I am at my wits end and cannot wait until we find a house so that we can set up preferably a more free roaming type situation for him (like on a porch where he can get direct sunlight). I guess all lizards have diff. personalities-- and our new one is very strong willed!
