No we still don't know where Napoleon picked up that nasty parasite! Finally collected enough samples from the turtles and dropped it off today ... maybe we'll know by Wed if the turtles are carriers .. that will explain how he got it - sort of .. we are always very careful not to cross contaminate, always washing well when we move from working with one speices to another, but things can happen I guess... specially with a pathogenic parasite like E. invadens.

Napoleon is still not eating well. I've been giving him a bit of yogurt and alfalfa slurry everyday. He's still on antibiotics too. Today he was perhaps a bit lethargic. Had be scared after his bathtime .. he cuddled with me, sleeply, for 30 minutes and that is totally not like him! But when I put him down he was bobbing and walking around just fine ... so maybe he was just sleepy when he was with me and wanted some affection too. Who knows. He still has me quite worried. :(
