: In many ways our hands are tied in this type of situation--we, on a forum, cannot see your iguana but can only get a feel of what you both are going through trying to get healthy again (if possible). To put a loved pet out of its misery is the hardest decision a human can make because we sometimes have to live with a bad case of the "what ifs" and the self-doubts. If you feel that she is in pain and cannot be healed, then this is truly your decision and we should not try to sway you nor condemn you. A lot of us have been where you are whether it was a reptile or a beloved, elderly dog, etc.
: My only suggestion would be to post over on the Iguana Mail List to see if anyone there has any recommendation OR can help you with an adoption placement if someone else would like to try to attempt to rehabilitate her. If you don't want to get on the list, I will gladly cut and paste the posts you have made here regarding her and ask that replies be sent to your e-mail. AND if you are worried about getting "flamed," I don't mind having replies come to me or just the list and I'll send them on to you sanitized of any bashing of you. It's the only help I can offer you long distance.
: Best wishes with any decision you make regarding this.
