i asked this question once about an iguana and bearded dragon. the advice that i got was the envornmental requirements are different and that since they come from different parts of the world different speciese carry different kinds of parasites and bacteria. this can be harmful and potentially lethal to lizzards of another species.

please correct me if i am misinformed but i hope this helps.
