Here we goooo!
My name is Dan, and I am a regular on some other boards here @ kingsnake. If anyone else is using this name, please tell me before you flip out. I live in PA and have some pets.(aka a zoo!) I am 14 years old. One of my mom's friends knows someone who wants to me to take her iguana. It's either I take it or she "gets rid of it". Well, I dont like option #2 much, so i'm getting an ig if she hasnt "gotton rid of it" yet. I dont know much about this Ig yet, exept that it comes with a cage. Nothing else but an ig and a cage, but if I find out about it i'll soon tell you. I have about $90 saved up from my birthday, what should I get? I know I should have- BIG cage, basking light, UV light like a vitalight or something, lots of food,vitamin/calcium powder, and a kitty litter tray for water. Am I missing anything? With the cage, should I make it out of plywood, screen, or what??? The best kind of vitamin powder? For food, I am thinking of using Mellisa Kaplans recipe as a staple, with other goodies mixed in. I must say, I really didnt want this Ig because of their size, power, etc, but I would rather take it than think of how they are going to "get rid of it". I am prepared to take care of it even if it doesnt turn out to be sweet or cuddly or cute. Following this, I have been up all night researching these things... they've kind of grown on me! Please, people, i need some help and some tips. Thanks

PS: I have other herps, anole + a tree frog + box turtles, so i'm not completly lost! *hopefully*
