This is a message I received in my email box today, they have probably done a search and found my IguanaAnswers site and not realised I live a looooooong ways away although the .co.uk is usually a bit of a giveaway :-)
Anyone help? or put her in touch with someone a little closer?
message reads.....I have an adult iguana that I am looking for a new home for. She is about
4 years old, very healthy and has her full tail. I have had her since she
was a baby and I have now gotten to a point where she is just too strong
for me to handle. I am looking to find someone that will keep her and not
put her to sleep. I spoke with a couple of vets, and they told me that I
could probably donate her to Petco, but they told me that they don't have
the space to house and adult iquana. She is not huge, and I don't really
know how long she is, but she is a little smaller than the average 4 years
old. I had a friend with an adult female that was about the same age and
she was alot larger than my Alex.
If you would be unable to take her, would you have any suggestions as to
who may be able to help me?
I can be reached at work until 4pm today and at home tonight after 7pm.
My work number is ***-***-****, and my home number is ***-***-****. You
can certainly use my email to contact me as well.
I would appreciate your help in this matter.
Thank you,
Tori Riggs
Her email addy is Tori_Riggs@plastics.org
I purposely blanked ph numbers out but she will give them you after emailing
If anyone does reply to her privately, could you also let me know if it has a happy ending please
Steve
