having been someone taking iguanas and bearded dragons on tons of outings... I know their behaviors pretty well. You will be sorry if you take Isis with you (it will make for a stressful and miserable time for both you and the iguana) Even more social iguanas who enjoy outings can be a bit of a pain... but they are manageable for short times at a quiet park etc. You risk losing Isis at such an event, and I can guarantee you will come home with your arms cut to ribbons! Other possible negative outcomes can be a stinky poop covered iguana who has fingerpainted her carrier....an overheated or cold iguana.... etc.

My bearded dragon is the best at social events, but even he usually poops when in new situations and gets antsy and flighty after awhile. I reccommend you take Isis to a public park etc. (somewhere close to home that you can leave right away if neccessary) and spend an hour or so there. This can be stressful enough!
